Overview

Brahmtal Trek Uttarakhand – Another jewel of the Himalayas that is untouched by trekkers from all over the world is the Brahmatal Trek, dedicated to Lord Brahma. It is beautifully situated amidst the Himalayas and is covered with a blanket of snow. The trail allows you to view the age-old forest of oaks and rhododendrons. Apart from the Brahmatal ridge in the grasslands, you can see many places on the Roopkund trek. Your heart will be completely fascinated by seeing the beautiful mountains located in the distance in clear weather.

Itinerary

• Brahmtal Trek, Uttarakhand
• Day 01: Kathgodam - Lohajung
• Upon arrival at Kathgodam railway station/bus stand, meet the travel guide.
• Travel for 9 hours to reach Lohajung.
• Check-in at the guest house.
• Overnight in guest house.
• Day 02: Lohajung - Bekaltal
• After breakfast, commence the trek to Bekaltal.
• Enjoy awe-inspiring views of Nanda Ghunti Peak en route.
• Trek through the dense forests of oaks and firs.
• Complete the 4-5 hours long, 8 km trek to reach Bekaltal.
• Overnight in tents.
• Day 03: Bekaltal - Brahmatal
• After breakfast, trek through snow-covered pathways to Brahmatal.
• It takes around 4 hours to reach the destination.
• Pass through forests and reach Telindi Top to witness breathtaking views of the mighty Himalayas.
• Continue trekking to reach Brahmatal or Khabekhal Lake.
• Overnight in tents.
• Day 04: Brahmatal
• After breakfast, start the climb to the Brahmatal Top.
• Pass through tricky trails via Chota Jhandidar and Bada Jhandidar, with valleys on both sides.
• Reach the summit in 2.5 hours and enjoy mesmerizing views of the Himalayan Ranges.
• Get close-up views of Mt. Trishul and Nandhaghunti.
• Proceed to the next campsite in Daldum with a trek of 3 hours (2.7 km).
• The trail will once again take you through thick forests.
• Overnight in tents.
• Day 05: Brahmatal - Lohajung
• After breakfast, descend back to Lohajung along the same trail.
• Check-in at the guest house upon arrival.
• Overnight in guest house.
• Day 06: Lohajung - Kathgodam
• After breakfast, depart from Lohajung to Kathgodam.
• End of the trek and onward journey to your destination.
